Terms of Service

Effective September 16, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and QuoteDuct for use of quoteduct.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

What QuoteDuct is

QuoteDuct helps contractors build estimates and share them with customers by link and email, and tracks their status. It is a software tool only: we are not a party to any agreement between a contractor and their customer, we do not process payments between them, and we do not verify licensing, insurance, pricing, or workmanship.

Your account

Sign-in is by one-time email link, so anyone with access to your email inbox can access your account — keep your inbox secure. Provide accurate information, and keep your business details (like license numbers) current and truthful.

Your content and your responsibilities

You own the content you put into QuoteDuct — estimates, prices, notes, and customer information. You're responsible for it: for having the right to use your customers' contact details, for the accuracy of your estimates, for your own tax collection and remittance (QuoteDuct applies the tax settings you choose and does not give tax advice — reference price ranges shown in the app are informational only), and for complying with the laws that apply to your business. Any payment link you attach is yours, on your own payment provider account and its terms.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to send spam or deceptive messages, to violate anyone's rights or any law, or to probe or disrupt the Service. Email reminders are rate-limited to protect delivery for everyone; don't try to evade those limits.

Plans and billing

The Free plan includes a monthly cap of sent estimates. Pro is a monthly subscription billed through Stripe at the price shown in the app. You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and paid periods aren't refunded. Prices may change with notice before your next renewal.

Availability and changes

We work to keep QuoteDuct fast and available, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may add, change, or remove features.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuoteDuct will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using QuoteDuct and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can export your quotes as CSV from Settings before you go.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we'll update the date above and note the change on this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
